Meet the Team at Artistic Dental Centre

Claudia has been in the dental field since 2012 and joined Dr. Ekpenyong’s team in May 2017. With a strong background in patient care and practice operations, Claudia ensures that everything in the office runs smoothly from supporting the staff to making sure every patient is well cared for. She is also known as our insurance expert, helping patients navigate their dental benefits with clarity and confidence.

Along with her cosmetology license, Claudia is currently studying to become a registered dietitian nutritionist, reflecting her passion for health and wellness. She loves building relationships with patients and making them feel like part of the family the moment they walk through the door.

Claudia is married and a proud mom of two. Her home is full of life with three cats, two guinea pigs and a turtle. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies with her family, lifting heavy at the gym and cooking delicious meals.

Jania joined our practice in January 2024 and has been the warm, welcoming face of our office ever since. She manages appointments, sends prescriptions and treatment plans while keeping the front office running smoothly; Often doing far more than she gives herself credit for.
Known as our unofficial emotional support, Jania helps patients feel comfortable and informed and her calm, organized nature shines even on the busiest days.

Outside of work, she enjoys visiting coffee shops, shopping, baking, creating content and spending time with her cats, Nana and Melody. Currently in her entrepreneur era, she’s excited to launch her own coffee business soon!

Arianna joined Artistic Dental Centre in October 2025 and, although young, brings valuable experience from working in the dental field since 2022. She manages appointments, coordinates the daily schedule to ensure everything runs smoothly and is cross trained to assist with sterilization and X-rays whenever needed.

Arianna is currently pursuing her education to become an anesthesiologist, with hopes of becoming a surgeon in the future. Known for her teamwork and sweet demeanor, she brings positivity and reliability to our office each day.

Outside of work, Arianna enjoys spending time with her brother and her six pets, as well as expressing her creativity through makeup and hair.

Meet Tammy, one of our accomplished Registered Dental Hygienists, whose journey with our practice began in 2017. Tammy’s extensive academic background includes graduating from the Kennedy-King College/The University of Illinois at Chicago Dental Hygiene Program in 2002, followed by the attainment of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Management in 2009. With over two decades of dedicated service, Tammy embodies a profound commitment to fostering enduring patient relationships and collaborating within a nurturing team environment.

Tammy deeply values the significance of preventative care in maintaining overall health, emphasizing the pivotal role of oral health in this process. Under the guidance of our ethical and knowledgeable dentist, Dr. Nse, she continually updates her skills through advanced training and education, staying level with the latest dental technology and treatment methodologies.

Beyond her professional commitments, Tammy finds solace in quality time spent with her son and husband. She rejuvenates through travel and occasional self-care activities, all while nurturing her love for reading, date nights, and staff outings. With over two decades devoted to providing exemplary patient care, Tammy remains dedicated to ensuring her patients feel heard, comfortable, and valued, all while leaving the dental chair with a renewed, smooth, and clean smile.

With an assisting career that began in 1989, Janet brings decades of skill, precision and dedication. She joined our office in November 2024 and quickly became an essential part of our team. Specializing in prosthodontics, particularly dentures and partials, Janet combines technical expertise with an eye for detail to ensure patients receive high-quality, comfortable restorations.

As our lead assistant and lab technician, Janet keeps the clinical side of the office running smoothly, supporting both the team and our patients with confidence and care.

Keosha has 12 years of experience in the dental field and joined our team in 2025. She holds an associate’s degree in general studies and is CPR certified.

Keosha is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and welcomed during their visits. She enjoys interacting with patients, educating them about their dental health and working closely with her team to provide the best possible care.

Outside of the office, Keosha loves spending time with her kids and family, who are big sports fans. She enjoys basketball, tacos and pizza and is a big Harry Potter fan.

Shelli brings 33 years of dental experience to our practice and joined our team in November 2024. She holds an AAS in Dental Hygiene and a BAS in Healthcare Administration. Shelli provides thorough cleanings, takes X-rays, and focuses on educating patients to help them feel confident and comfortable with their dental care.

Known for her upbeat personality, contagious laughter, and her role as our resident “handy woman,” Shelli brings warmth and energy to every appointment. Outside the office, she enjoys life with her three children and two grandkids. She also proudly serves as a brand ambassador for the 40+ Double Dutch Club.

Marian has been a dental hygienist for six years and joined our practice in July 2024. She is certified in CPR and laser technology and is known for her gentle, patient-centered approach. Marian’s main responsibilities include educating patients on oral hygiene, performing cleanings, taking X-rays, and helping maintain healthy gums.

Her favorite part of the job is helping people achieve a healthy, confident smile. Outside of work, Marian enjoys life with her husband, their 5-year-old daughter, and their dog. In her free time, she loves baking and gardening.

Juliet brings 30 years of dental experience to our team and has been with our office since June 2025. As our Invisalign Specialist, she is CPR-certified and holds a certificate in teeth whitening. Juliet places Invisalign, takes records for new cases, and guides patients through every step of their treatment, making her our go-to expert for all things Invisalign.

She loves meeting new patients and helping them achieve the smile they’ve been working toward. Juliet is known for her supportive, approachable style and her dedication to creating a smooth, positive experience for each patient.

Outside the office, Juliet is married and the proud mom of three. She also has a lovable Shih Tzu named Dulce. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with loved ones, and traveling whenever she can.
